Who we are

Lewis has worked in roles challenging construction industry norms for nearly ten years.

Following climate emergencies called in 2019, he became enamoured by the retrofit problem. Drawn by the need of swift action, and the need for dramatic industry change to meet the scale of the retrofit challenge.

Before that, he enjoyed adventures as a musician, part of a likeminded community of bands who placed an emphasis on recording each other's music and exchanging opportunities to perform. Lewis carries an appreciation of collaboration and not waiting for others to do things for you.

Lewis is a qualified Retrofit Assessor and regularly performs assessments to make sure he keeps up with the everchanging retrofit landscape. He leads product design of Zurva, making sure it reflects the needs of practitioners, industry, homeowners and residents to alleviate information barriers to high quality retrofit at scale.

Matt is a product and software professional with 20 years experience. He is passionate about developing software products the right way - focusing on solving problems and giving users well thought through tools.

Joanne advises Zurva on surveying practice, heritage context, and research-informed approaches to building assessment.
